Transforming lives, facilitating entry to the fiduciary industry
The FISA Bursary Scheme Trust is a non-profit, public-benefit organisation with a primary purpose of supplying bursaries to mainly previously disadvantaged individuals who qualify to enrol for a tertiary qualification applicable to the fiduciary industry.
Several bursaries have been awarded thus far, with one bursary holder having passed the SFPL diploma and successfully applied to FISA for the designation of Fiduciary Practitioner of SA® (FPSA®).
A call for support
The FISA Bursary Scheme Trust needs considerable capitalisation as a matter of priority. The industry is attracting interest from graduates, yet they need support. Many young people see the fiduciary sector as a meaningful profession – one where they can earn a living while doing good and helping people with their personal affairs.
The Board of Trustees is therefore appealing to corporates or firms in the fiduciary industry or individual fiduciary practitioners, to contribute to the Trust.
