Members who have suggestions for topics to be covered or speakers to be invited to speak at regional meetings can contact their local regional committee.
Speakers are expected to cover topics of general interest to the industry and not promote their own products. What is meant by the last is that the contents must have academic or practical value on a level commensurate with tertiary education and must not be pure marketing of the speaker’s product or service. Obviously, the speaker will get the exposure and may use branded slides in the presentation.
Internal training by employers in the fiduciary industry can be accredited for CPD purposes. Applications to have specific courses, seminars, webinars, etc. be accredited for FISA CPD should be emailed to louis@fisa.net.za.
