FISA Council elections

Click here for the nomination form if you wish to nominate a FISA member for the one vacancy for a nationally elected councillor of FISA. Nominations must reach the FISA CEO on or before 2 March 2026.  Please follow the instructions on the form.

At the 2026 FISA annual general meeting, to be held on 15 April 2026, Angélique Krügel is approaching the end of her three-year term as a nationally elected councillor. Angélique is automatically deemed to be nominated for re-election and does not need to be nominated. Any two members may nominate any other FISA member. If more than one candidate is nominated, an e-mail ballot election will be held. See clause 15 of the FISA Constitution.

Regional chairpersons and committees must also be elected at regional election meetings in the Western Cape, Eastern Cape, and the Northern Region, as their regional committees are approaching the end of their two-year terms. The elected regional chairpersons also join the FISA council as regional councillors. Members in these regions will be invited to the election meetings soon. See par 6 of the Regulations for Regional Committees
