FISA closed its bank account with Nedbank a year ago. This was done because electronic banking was not available on that particular type of account, and because managing FISA’s funds in the NEW INVESTEC ACCOUNT is easier and the interest rates better. Some members still make payments into the closed Nedbank account. Nedbank informed FISA that it will no longer accept payment into that account.
Payments to FISA can only be done into the following account:

Reference: Your initials and surname
Payments into this account can also be done over the counter at ABSA branches. If a cheque or cash deposit is made, the electronic account number (50010176701) must be inserted in the reference field on the deposit slip. The account number to be used is 4059749310, which is Investec’s Corporate Cash Manager account at ABSA Bank.
