IOL: Can trustees delegate their authority?

Phia van der Spuy asks in her regular column in Personal Finance/Business Report whether trustees can delegate their authority. She discusses alternate trustees and proxies, concluding that while trustees may delegate tasks, they cannot avoid their fundamental authority in decision-making.
