FISA received the following communication from SARS:
“In line with SARS’ Strategic Objectives, our Estates Segment will provide education and training to our external stakeholders to make it easy and simple to comply. To this end we would like to host FISA to a workshop that will inter alia cover various practical issues including:
Steps to request SARS to code a case as deceased estate
Presentation on e-filing processes when dealing with a deceased estate
This initial two-hour virtual training workshop will exclusively be for FISA and its members and the idea is to “train–the–trainer” to create champions in the various regions who in turn, would be in a position to assist fellow members who have similar issues. As we are aware your membership is grouped into 6 regions, this will be the first of several meetings and we would like to commence by first inviting a maximum of 3 participants per region. (A total maximum of 20 participants can be accommodated)”
The first workshop will be held on 28 June 2022 from 09:00 to 11:00.
