The FISA chairperson, Mr Ian Brink, was approached by attorneys acting for two trusts to nominate a FISA member to act as independent trustee.
As the FISA council has taken the stand that:
- Only members with FPSA® status can be regarded as “FISA accredited”; and
- The council or the chairperson or any employee of or contractor to FISA cannot recommend one FPSA® member over another.
