Fields removed in the membership list on FISA website

As communicated in last week’s FISA Focus Weekly, members’ contact details and all other details other than name, surname, company, FPSA® status (if applicable) and FISA member number have been removed from the FISA membership list under the “Members” tab on the FISA website.

A member’s name in this list is an active link to the publicly accessible section of the member’s profile page on the website. On this page, the same limited fields are displayed. Members have the choice to log into their personal profile and select other fields that they would like to be made available to the public. As a default position these other fields will remain inaccessible to everybody but the member until the member activates these fields.

FISA took these steps in order not to place member’s details other than the limited fields in the public domain without the member’s permission.
