FISA CEO to step down at end of June 2025

The FISA Chief Executive, Louis van Vuren, informed the FISA council some time ago that he wishes to vacate his position on 30 June 2025 to pursue other interests. Louis entered the fiduciary industry in the second half of 1996 and started in a newly-created position as FISA CEO in 2013.

Dr Eben Nel, FISA National Chairperson, said: “Louis’ contribution to FISA’s development over the past decade has been exemplary. Under his leadership, and with the support of dedicated Councillors who give of their time on a voluntary basis, FISA has grown in stature and membership numbers, and I am proud to say that we are now in a position to transition what has been a part-time CEO position into a full-time role.”

The process to find a replacement for Louis is already underway.
