FISA is growing! New region formed – Northern Region

The FISA Gauteng region has grown so much over the last few years that it became necessary to split the region into two.  The FISA council took a decision during 2017 to create a new region under existing provisions of the FISA constitution.

The new region will be called the Northern Region and will accommodate FISA members in Pretoria and all areas north of Midrand, as well as those parts of the Northwest, Northern and Mpumalanga provinces north of the N14, N12 and N4 highways.

For a full description of the geographic area of the new region, please see the Regulations for Regional Committees document on the FISA website.  Members in the area of the new region will be invited to an election meeting in late February to elect a regional committee, the chairperson of which will join the FISA council.
