Linda Cahill leaving FISA

Mrs Linda Cahill, personal assistant and admin support to FISA CEO, Louis van Vuren, leaves FISA on 31 March 2025 after three years in the role. She started with FISA during February 2022 and was instrumental in setting up event registrations such as the regional meetings, the FISA annual general meeting and the FISA conference.

FISA national chairperson, Dr Eben Nel, remarked that Linda made a remarkable impact on FISA’s operations and her friendly and professional interaction with the FISA council, regional committees and members in general will be missed. Louis van Vuren said that the smooth running of FISA’s operations over the last three years depended very much on Linda’s dedication to FISA’s ideals and goals and that she walked many extra miles for FISA.

Linda spent the last month training and working with her successor, Ms Dorita Dempers. She plans to spend more time with her husband, two adult children and other family.
