Nominations are now open for the FISA Chairperson’s Award. The winner will be announced at the 16th Annual FISA Conference on 9 September 2026. Introduced in 2017, the award reflects the FISA Council’s commitment to recognising, each year, an individual or institution that has made a remarkable contribution to the fiduciary profession in Southern Africa.
Any FISA member may submit a nomination. Nominations close at 17:00 on Friday, 7 August 2026, and must include a full motivation explaining why the nominee would be a worthy recipient.
The criteria are as follows:
- The award is made to the person or institution that, in the opinion and sole discretion of the Award Sub-Committee, made a significant and remarkable contribution to the fiduciary profession in Southern Africa over the preceding year or years.
- Any individual is eligible, regardless of whether the person is a FISA member.
- An institution will not qualify merely for conducting its normal business or fulfilling its expected role.
- No employee of or contractor to FISA will be eligible while employed or under
contract.
