It is with much regret that we have to announce the resignation of Ronel Williams as national councillor, after serving the Institute as councillor for the past 6 years – 3 of which as chairperson. Ronel has accepted a position within the fiduciary environment in Mauritius and will fortunately not be lost to the industry to which she has contributed so unselfishly. Her departure leaves a real void in our midst and she will be dearly missed by her co-councillors. As an Institute we wish her all of the best for an exciting future ahead.
Council is grateful to Chris Murphy who has agreed to act in Ronel’s position until early 2020 when an election for a new national councillor will take place.
