FISA is aware that there are ongoing issues with the Master Pretoria regarding files not being available.
We have received notification from the Master that most of the files stored offsite have now been moved from the previous service provider to the existing service provider, but there may be some files that were damaged. The Master will in appropriate circumstances open a dummy file, but each case will be assessed on its own merits by the Deputy Master involved or the Trust division.
FISA will continue to liaise with the Master to agree a process to be followed in this regard.
