The different banks in South Africa have different process requirements for the lodgement and escalation of requests for certificates of balance and other deceased estate documentation.
These processes can be accessed on the FISA website. The processes are amended from time-to-time and will be updated as FISA receives new information from a bank.
Members should, therefore, visit the page every time they are going to lodge documents with a bank or want to escalate an issue with that bank, to ensure that they are using the latest email addresses and the correct escalation procedure when necessary.
Please do not send an email to the FISA representative listed on the page before the relevant bank’s escalation process has been exhausted.
