Notices are up at the Master’s Office Pretoria since early this morning stating that the office will be closed as from 06:00 on 23 March 2022 due to unpaid rentals. Upon enquiries to the Office of the Chief Master, FISA was informed that the situation is getting attention from the Department of Public Works and that stakeholders will be kept informed. At around 14:20 we were informed that interaction between the Departments of Justice and Public Works is still ongoing and that further communications to stakeholders will follow.
At this stage it would probably be prudent to assume that the Master: Pretoria will be closed at least for tomorrow. FISA will keep monitoring the situation and inform members accordingly.
