The Citizen newspaper reports that the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development will conduct “unannounced ‘spot check’ visits to the Master’s Office, in the Northern Cape High Court in Kimberley, amid complaints of workers being on lunch for two hours. This is impacting on service levels to the public.
Ian Brink, former Chair of FISA is quoted as previously raising concerns about the levels of service at various Masters’ Offices across SA.
