The Financial Intelligence Centre issued a Public Compliance Communication (PCC) containing guidance to Trust and Company Service Providers as defined in Item 2 of Schedule 1 to the Financial Intelligence Centre Act, 38 of 2001.
The document gives guidance about what activities undertaken by service providers regarding the setting up of corporate entities, acting as nominees, and setting up and administering trusts lead to the obligation to register under Item 2 of the Schedule.
