Your will is one of the most important documents you will ever sign. Having a will drawn for you and signing it is a unilateral act, i.e. you do not need anybody’s agreement or permission as long as you are over 16 years old and do not suffer from mental incapacity.
It is easy to fall into the trap of thinking that you can do it yourself. However, to put an appropriate will together requires knowledge of wide variety of legislation, as well as common and case law.
