Dr Eben Nel, FISA Chairperson, was appointed as Adjunct Professor in the Department of Mercantile Law in the Faculty of Law at the Nelson Mandela University.
Dr Nel has more than 10 years’ experience in the same department as a Research Associate.
As Adjunct Professor, his role is to do research and publish in accredited academic journals. He is also from time to time involved in lecturing on an ad hoc basis.
Dr Nel’s current research focus is in the field of fiduciary law, with his most recent article published in the Journal for Juridical Science 2024 49(1) 53-76 as ‘Fiduciary law in South Africa: A good time to come of age’.
