FISA Conference to be postponed to later in 2020

The FISA Council decided at its last meeting to postpone the 10th Annual FISA Conference to a date later in the year.  The conference was scheduled for 20 August 2020.  Given the uncertainty as to when travel and gathering restrictions will be lifted, the council decided to find an appropriate date not earlier than the middle of October 2020.  Possibilities are investigated to present the conference as a hybrid event, with delegates either attending in person or via teleconferencing facilities.

Plans are also underway for some special ways to celebrate the fact that this is the tenth annual conference, the first conference having been held in 2011.
