FISA is pleased to announce that the FISA logo has now been officially registered by the South African Trade Marks Office in terms of section 29(2) of the Trade Marks Act 194 of 1993.
The Trademark was registered as follows:
2024/25493 in Class 35 Advertising; business management; business administration; office functions; offering for sale and the sale of goods in the retail and wholesale trade.
2024/25494 in Class 36 Financial, monetary and banking services; insurance services; real estate services.
2024/25495 in Class 41 Education; providing of training; entertainment; sporting and cultural activities.
All of the above was registered in the name of the FIDUCIARY INSTITUTE OF SOUTHERN AFRICA.
FISA members may henceforth use the two approved registered trademark logos.
Members who are still using the previous logo containing the TM symbol are requested to replace it with the updated logo containing the ® symbol.
