FISA received the following communication from the Office of the Chief Master:
“Kindly be advised that some progress have been made, but the system is currently not fully functional. There are various issues that still need to be resolved before the Masters will be fully operational. It however seems that, in most instances, officials are able to receive external messages, but it is currently uncertain whether all external messages are received.
Furthermore, take note that the offices can unfortunately not currently respond to queries, but might be in a position to respond telephonically, if the query is not reliant on the system. This will however also depend on whether the specific message was received, as alluded to above.
A formal media statement will be released by the Department once the Masters are back to full functionality.”
