HGG Trust (Pty) Ltd from Somerset West has been placed under provisional liquidation by an order of the Western Cape High Court on 23 March 2022, following the recent death of the founder of the HGG Group. The return date for the provisional order is 22 April 2022.
HGG Trust’s logo had been displayed as a supporter company on the scrolling banner on the FISA website, a paid for advertising opportunity FISA makes available to businesses in the fiduciary industry. The logo was removed from the FISA website on 24 March 2022.
FISA will deal with any potential claim by the liquidators for repayment of the advertising fee if and when any such claim is received.
